Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef personality. She also was a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell hosts on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and pumped-up persona on the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, reveals straightforward and simple techniques for home cooks. Chef Burrell has worked in New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine traditions and environment. Also, she was a contestant on Iron Chef America on Food Network. As a child in the upper reaches of New York area, Chef Burrell found a passion for cooking and food from a young age. The Culinary Institute of America is where she went to earn an English diploma and Communications diploma from Canisius College Buffalo NY. I was awed by every minute that I was a student in The Culinary Institute of America she says. I couldn't learn enough couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. Following graduation of the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, chef Burrell spent an entire year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. It was during this time that her experience in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, and has made an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists children with obstacles. Burrell travels extensively across the nation in her capacity in the capacity of mentor and guest speaker where she discusses her work and passion for cooking. Anne has, through her whole culinary journey has stated that it's an honor to have the opportunity to be able to share this love of life with others.
